SUNDAY
Upon arrival to
Ben Gurion Airport, you will be met by the local representative in the “Baggage
Claim” area, just past the “Passport Control” counters. You will be assisted to
the driver who will transfer you to your hotel in Tel Aviv. The remainder of
the day would be at leisure, to relax after the long flight. Dinner at the
hotel.

MONDAY
CAESAREA-MEGIDDO-MOUNT CARMEL-ACRE-KIBBUTZ
Drive
along Via Maris to Caesarea, the Roman capital of Palestine under
Pontius Pilate. Visit the Roman, Byzantine and Crusader ruins, the
aqueduct and the impressive Roman Theatre. Travel inland to Megiddo,
one of Solomon's chariot cities and the site of the coming Battle of
the Armageddon. Continue north to Haifa, for a panoramic view of the
city. Travel then further north to the ancient city of Acre and visit
its underground Crusader stronghold and the medieval fortifications.
Continue to Kibbutz Lavi, for dinner and overnight.

TUESDAY
TIBERIAS-BOAT RIDE-CAPERNAUM-TABGHA-MOUNT OF BEATITUDES-GOLAN HEIGHTS
After a short tour
of Tiberias, take a board ride on the Sea of Galilee, to Capernaum, the center
of Jesus preaching. Visit the ruins of the ancient synagogue, then proceed to
Tabgha, the site of the miracle of the Multiplication of the Loaves and
Fish. Continue to the Mount of
Beatitudes, the site of the Sermon on the Mount. Then, proceed to Caesarea
Philippi, at the Banias Springs. Return to the hotel in time for dinner.

WEDNESDAY
CANA-NAZARETH-YARDENIT-BEIT SHEAN-JERUSALEM
Drive to Nazareth
via Cana, the site of the Wine Miracle and the Wedding. Visit the Basilica of
the Annunciation and Mary's Well. Drive then to Yardenit, the Baptismal site on
the River Jordan. Continue to Beit Shean to visit the excavations of the Roman
Amphitheater. Then drive along the Jordan River Valley to Jerusalem and check
into your hotel, just in time for dinner.

THURSDAY
OLD CITY OF JERUSALEM
Drive
to the Mount of Olives and the Hill of the Ascension for a panoramic
view of the beautiful city of Jerusalem. Visit the Chuch of All Nations
and King David's Tomb, then pause for meditation in the Upper Room.
Enter within the walls of the Old City and visit the Cardo. Proceed
then to the Temple Mount Area, view the Western (Wailing) Wall and the
Dome of the Rock (entrance to the mosque is not included). Follow the
footsteps of Jesus along Via Dolorosa to the Church of the Holy
Sepulchre. Today's tour ends with a visit to the Garden Tomb. Dinner at
your hotel.

FRIDAY
NEW CITY OF JERUSALEM-BETHLEHEM
Start the tour
today visiting the Church of the Visitation at Ein Karem. Visit then Yad
Vashem, the memorial to the six million Jews killed in the Holocaust. On to the
Israel Museum, for a visit of the Shrine of the Book, where some of the famous
Dead Sea scrolls are displayed. Also see there the Jerusalem model, a
true-to-scale 1-50 model depicting the city as it was in the time of Jesus.
Drive to the "little town of Bethlehem" (pending authorities’
permission), to visit the Church of the Nativity, built over the stable where
Jesus was born, and the Shepherds' Fields. Return to your hotel in time for
dinner.

SATURDAY
DEAD
SEA-QUMRAN-MASSADA
Drive through the Judean Desert to the Dead
Sea, the lowest spot on the surface of the globe. Stop at Qumran and visit the
caves where the Dead Sea scrolls were discovered by desert Bedouins. Proceed
along the Dead Sea to Massada, the site of the most dramatic act in the Jewish
history. Ascend by cable car and tour the mount; see the excavations, enjoy the
view of the wilderness. Time and weather permitting, an opportunity will be
provided to float on the Dead Sea, before returning to Jerusalem, for dinner at the hotel.
